i wanna go uel on my 06 2.5i and i know anything can be made to work. i see wrx headers on 2.5is all the time. right now i have a sti axle back with a stock midpipe and i like it. its not wild and its only mildly annoying in the back seat (but perfect for getting my daughter to sleep) so anyone got a uel header for my car and is there someone who can make it work for a fair price or trade.

I didn't think a WRX or STI exhaust manifold would work with a 2.5i since it goes to the UP then turbo?

I too am skeptical that you'll find a bolt-on solution. You certainly could make it work if you're willing to cut & weld - the headers will bolt to the block easy enough, but you probably will need to make a custom piece of exhaust to connect the header to the mid pipe.

The NA section on NASIOC has been doing this for some time. I don't know the science involved, but there's a defined formula.

all i know is on most wrx headers ive seen they come out stright then the up pipe bolts on. so its a matter of going from the header to the stock exhaust.

Instead of having a pipe bent and welded up for that application, it would probably be easier to get an aftermarket one for the 2.5i

i do think it would be possable to us a header ment for a 02-05 2.5 and just shorten the system by 3 in. but im also on a budget. so in the end what ever saves me is what im gonna do but only if its done right.

Same with my car! She gets mad mad if shes only 1/2 asleep and i turn the car off. I think its also the vibrations of the car too.

I got a orgy of an exhaust system. EL headers, turbo XS down pipe. Custom Midpipe, Cobb Axleback.
